The EA Cambridge In-depth Fellowship is a forum for people who have a background understanding of Effective Altruism to explore related questions more deeply, with a focus on addressing career and donation-related uncertainties.
The fellowship will last eight weeks, commencing in the week of 10th May. Every week, fellows will be given some preparatory reading and exercises to complete in advance of a 1.5-hour discussion in groups of three to five with a facilitator. The discussions will take place remotely over Zoom. Fellows will also have the opportunity to participate in Q&As with individuals working in the fields they are reading about and to meet fellows from around the world.
We are currently revising the curriculum for the fellowship, but you can see the curriculum overview for our spring round of the fellowship here.
The fellowship is open to all, whether you're an undergraduate, postgraduate, faculty member, or unaffiliated with the University of Cambridge. We are committed to building a diverse cohort of fellows. Evidence suggests that underprivileged individuals tend to underestimate their abilities. We do not want the application process to dissuade potential candidates and we strongly encourage interested students to apply regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, ability, etc.
If this sounds like you, please complete this initial application form by Friday 30th April 23:59 BST.
If you have any questions about the fellowship, please contact our In-Depth Fellowship Coordinator, Tristan, at . We look forward to hearing from you!
